FFL’s primary function is to offer writers feedback on the opening chapters of their fantasy or LitRPG novel. There are no strings, asterisks, or expectations of collaboration beyond that. I enjoy reviewing manuscripts and sharing thoughts and suggestions. It’s time to see whether that feedback could be helpful for other writers. The amount of feedback I share depends on a few factors, including the number of submissions in the queue, but I’ll provide as much as I can while keeping the queue moving. You can submit the initial chapters of your novel via the form at the bottom of the page.
The library functionality and reader interface exist mainly because I wanted to challenge my limited web development skills. Still, I can imagine a future where readers are drawn to a library of many strong novels, and FFL can offer authors another path to discovery and income. FFL’s secondary goal, behind providing feedback on all submissions, is to build up the library.
Guidelines
- No AI-generated manuscripts.
- Incomplete works may be submitted for feedback, but only completed works will be considered for the library.
- No explicit content.
- Standalone or first in a series if you’re seeking acceptance into the library.
If your novel is posted to FFL:
- You may remove the novel at any time.
- You retain all rights.
- You acknowledge that there is no advance. Any money you earn will come from reader tips.
